Overview
Company changes, prepared and filed by our lawyers
A company changes over time: board members come and go, shares are transferred, the name, address or articles need updating. Each change must be filed with the commercial registry, often together with the tax office. MAXCORP’s lawyers prepare and submit the petitions and can represent you remotely on the basis of a power of attorney.
Changes to the management board, from appointing a new member to removing a departing one
Changes to the shareholding structure, with the transfer documents prepared for signing
Amendments to the articles of association, including a new company name or business address
Tax office filings such as a VAT number, alongside the change in the commercial registry
Registrations in other countries, such as an EORI number for trading goods across borders
Remote representation on a power of attorney, so you do not need to travel for the filing
Registry filings follow strict formal rules, and the rules differ by country: an error in a petition means a rejection and a new filing. Our lawyers prepare the documents, arrange the signatures by power of attorney or digitally, and follow the filing through until the change is entered in the register. Your company’s records stay correct and up to date.
Scope
Which changes and registrations we handle

Process
How a registry amendment works
You tell us what needs to change; we confirm the price, prepare the documents and arrange the signing, then submit the filing and follow it through to the register.
Our steps
Step 1
Your change
You tell us the company, the country and what needs to change.
Step 2
Quote
We confirm the documents needed and the price.
Step 3
Documents and signing
Resolutions and petitions prepared and signed, remotely.
Step 4
Filing
Submitted to the registry or authority and followed up.
Step 5
Change registered
We confirm when the register shows the change.
The registry’s or authority’s own processing time depends on the country and is separate from our steps.
Changes to the management board, the shareholding structure, the company name, the registered address and the articles of association, as well as tax office filings such as a VAT number.
Do I need to travel to sign?
Usually not. Our representative can act for you remotely on the basis of a power of attorney. Where a country requires a notary, we help to book the appointment and prepare the documents.
How much does a registry change cost?
Each change is quoted in advance, once we know the country and what needs to change. A business consultation with a lawyer is €280 per hour, and the first 15-minute call is free. State and notary fees are billed separately.
How long does a change take?
Our part is preparing the documents and arranging the signing. The registry’s own processing time depends on the country and is separate from our steps.
Can I rename a ready-made company?
Yes. A ready-made company can be renamed after the transfer through a registry amendment. See Company formation.
Can you register for VAT or EORI?
Yes. We prepare and submit applications to the tax office, such as for a VAT number, and registrations in other countries, such as an EORI number.
Can several changes be filed at once?
Often yes: for example a new board member and an amendment to the articles can go in one filing. We check this for your country when we quote.
What documents do you need from me?
The current company details, the changes you want to make, and passport copies of any new board members or shareholders, submitted through our secure online verification. We draft the decisions and forms for your signature.
